Nice camera for the kids, but the lense system jammed on two versions of the camera. Take care when handling.

This was a Christmas gift to my daughter & am told she loves it & uses it constantly!

I wanted a camera that was user friendly, simple to use. I purchased another brand that was too complicated to use, so I took it back and purchased this one. I liked it so well, that I purchased one for my mother for Christmas.

I bought this camera for my 11 year old son for Christmas. I have always owned Nikon cameras, currently I shoot with a D40, but my last point and shoot was a Nikon Coolpix L6. I was looking for something like that for my son, and found that the L20 was in my price range. I didn't look at the camera in person. I read a few reviews, and purchased the camera, mostly on the Nikon name, and reputation. When my son started taking pictures with it, I was immediately disappointed in the resolution of the LCD screen. It truly is horrible. The supposed 10 megapixel resolution is laughable at best. If I had it to do over again, I would have purchased the Fuji Finepix J38. That is the camera my other son bought, and it is leaps and bounds better than the L20.

Shame on Nikon for spending more on advertising with Ashton than they did on making a quality product.

14 years old. She loves it! does so many different things automaticly. takes pic when person smiles,excelent pictures
when you be sure and focus before taking pic.
She took 500 pic's in three days at Christmas time.Most came out great
