After considering the numerous reviews of this product, some positive and some negative, I tried to make a logical decision. Some reported that these batteries are incompatible with the Lumix ZS3 unless one downgrades their firmware version. Others report that the batteries work perfectly with no questions asked. A few purchased two of these batteries and reported one success and one failure. Well, after pondering for a few hours, I decided to purchase two of these batteries. After arrival, I put both of them in my camera, and it turned out that they both worked perfectly, just like the original! It turned out that the batteries I received are compatible with my camera, the Lumix ZS3. After rejoicing, I became skeptical about how these batteries would last and whether the battery life was sufficient. After having these batteries for a month, I can safely say that they still work perfectly. The battery life is even longer than the original battery included with the camera by! I don't know whether this product was upgraded or whether others received a different product, but by my own experience, I can share nothing but positive comments and highly recommend this battery. It's much cheaper than buying an original from Panasonic and last longer too! Save some money people!

I bought a brand new ZS3 for myself a few weeks ago and noticed that the battery that comes with it runs down quickly when you are having fun snapping lots of photos. I purchased this item on Monday February 15, 2010 and it arrived on Saturday Feb. 20, 2010 with no special shipping. I paid $10.75 for it and 3 bucks and change for shipping. The item was purchased through Amazon but sold by Thememstore. I was nervous that it wouldn't work because my camera has the 1.2 firmware. Well--- I got a "Power 2000" 3.7 volt 1200 mAh battery that worked the second I popped it into my camera. fully charged to boot. The people who ordered from Thememstore, like me, probably got this awesome product and are leaving the positive reviews. I can only imagine that other people (who are leaving negative or older reviews) got there product from some other seller who sent something else that doesn't work with the new firmware. Get this product if you see it being sold by Thememstore--- it really does work with new ZS3's. and it comes with the little plastic case too!

The product I received was not like the one shown. I received a Power2000 ACD-311, 3.7V 1200mAh Battery. It worked fine in the factory Panasonic charger, and in my brand new DMC-ZS3 camera with firmware version 1.2. So if you're deciding whether or not to buy one for this camera, I fully recommend it. It works great, and costs less than half the price of the Panasonic battery.

battery last one day fully charger i have oreded 2 of the same battery from two differet places and the same results . i suggest buy a panasonic battery

I purached two of these battery as a back up to the orginal manufactures battery. I took them on a three week vacation where I took over 1,200 photos and several video clips. I rotated between these replacement bateries and the orginal and I found no differance.
